Circling Rivers, January 2022

3 firsts with 3 new books!

We’re very happy to announce 3 firsts with 3 poetry collections coming from Circling Rivers in 2022:

Nothing but Light, by Barbara Schwartz and & Krista J. H. Leahy (Summer 2022)

Blue, by Erin Wilson (Fall 2022)

On the Level: Poems on Living with Multiple Sclerosis, by Bryan R. Monte (Fall 2022)

Each of these books is a first for us:

Our first collaborative work: Nothing but Light explores the sacred feminine through two poets’ shared visits to places and people of spiritual revelation.

Our first second book: We’re honored that Erin Wilson, whose collection At Home with Disquiet we published in Spring 2020, chose Circling Rivers to publish her second collection Blue.

Our first book to illuminate the challenges faced by a man whose physical reality often clashes with the assumptions of the average “able” person — including mine, until I read On the Level.

We’ll post more on these beautiful poets and their work in the months to come. Meanwhile, read “Ruptured,” by Barbara Schwartz, in Mayday Magazine.
