Circling Rivers doesn’t publish what most people would call “beach reads.” On the other hand, contemplating the ocean (or a lake, or people playing at a park, or whatever scene you’re relaxing in) and dipping into a poetry collection go very well together. When you head out, take along a few volumes of our pocket edition of Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass, or Robert Clinton’s ecologically brushed Wasteland Honey, or Erin Wilson’s poems on rural life and family, At Home with Disquiet – or whichever of our books speak to you here and now.
